When Captain Kickass got elected president in 2008 gun sales sky rocketed because of the perceived notion that he would go after the 2nd Amendment. As this story is developing it appears that this may have been one of his attempts to do so.
For those of you that are not familiar with this story (the Liberal media would like to keep you in the dark on it) the ATF ran on operation called Fast and Furious where they allowed criminals and Mexican drug cartels to buy guns that the ATF had seized in previous raids under the guise that they would track them to the ring leaders of whatever criminal organization bought them. Unfortunately, 2 US border agents were killed with weapons sold during the Fast and Furious operation.
It appears that Captain Kickass has his fall guy picked out, ATF director Kenneth Melson, but as you can guess he gets his orders from higher up.
I know what you are thinking - if this was a Republican (Iran contra) the media would be calling for the president's head but as I said earlier..........you don't even hear about this in the news.
