Did You Hear That GM Paid Back Their Taxpayer Loan? Ummm - Sure They Did

When the bailout of GM was being considered Senator Lamar Alexander (R-TN) had this great idea for the taxpayers that were paying to keep GM open but the lefties made sure the private sector didn't get a piece of this pie......we just had to buy the ingredients, bake it and watch GM eat it.



GM's use of TARP money to pay back a TARP loan can be compared to paying off your Visa bill with your Mastercard.
  I have seen and heard the commercials from GM bragging about paying off their loan 5 years early - even if you didn't know that they used TARP money you would have to ask yourself this question:  How can a company with a 2009 4th quarter loss of 3.4 billion dollars pay back a 8.1 billion dollar loan?  The obvious answer would be and is they can't so don't worry people the US taxpayers and Canada still own 72.5% of GM.
Just to show that I actually peruse the liberal websites to bring you as much information as I can - I found that even the liberal websites seem to be reporting it correctly.  The bloggers on their sites seem to be some what dim witted but I won't hold that against them.
