Sorry Russel we do not buy it.

Look, Russel would like to control earmark spending. It seems he wants us to see him as a hawk on wasting money. So sorry Russel we see your actions and they do not match the words. Hope your "no" vote on the socialists health care bill will trump your stimulus vote. Oh that is right you voted "yes" . BuBye.
Russel appears to wants to stop wasting taxpayer money.
I do understand that if his amendment passes it is a good thing. Sometimes these guys put forth something they know will not fly to get to say they tried and somehow make us feel that maybe they aint all that bad. Please.

  1. Senator Feingold has made his political career out of a carefully crafted, though thoroughly bogus "maverick" image. His usual tack is to vote against things he knows will pass so he can claim he is an independent thinker. One example was when in the impeachment case of President Bill Clinton in early 1999 Feingold was the only Democrat Senator to vote to support formal proceedings to continue with the trial. Yet, shortly afterwards when it finally came time to vote on a conviction, Feingold toed the party line and voted not guilty. Another example could be his lone vote against enactment of the original Patriot Act (yes, there have been several others since). Although, I must say that I actually agree with his Patriot Act vote. That thing is a bitch! Wait a minute...Where am I??

  2. I agree, also an update, the bill in the article did not pass yesterday, and he knew it wouldn't. Another example why he has got to go. This type of dishonest and crafty representative is why we are in the mess we are in.
