Boeing would like to open a new manufacturing plant in South Carolina to build their new Boeing 787 airplane but the NLRB (Obama's union buddies) are doing everything they can to stop it.
Question: Why would they want to stop a company from creating 1,000 jobs?
Answer: South Carolina is a right to work state and the plant would be non-union.
Now if you you don't know this story - Boeing is not moving their Washington plant nor are they eliminating any jobs from there - so why is the NLRB (which is supposedly there to promote new business in this country) trying to stop the new plant? Where is the greatest president (whose laser-like focus is on job creation) this country has ever had and what is his position on this matter?
Those are damn good questions?

Obama Administration Covers Up Union Welfare Program
The following paragraphs are straight from the linked Washington Times story - this gives a little insight to the most transparent government evah!
The Obama administration is more than a year late in releasing an important report on federal government union costs. Clauses within collective bargaining agreements require that the government pay some federal workers for union activities - using tax dollars. This practice, known as “official time,” is documented annually in the Office of Personnel Management’s (OPM)Official Time Usage in the Federal Government Report. Unfortunately, the Obama administration has not released any official time statistics since taking office; 2008 is the latest information available.
In 2008, federal employees logged 2,893,922 hours for union work while still receiving a paycheck from Uncle Sam. This cost taxpayers nearly $121 million for work only benefiting government unions.
Indeed, union favoritism has characterized the Obama administration since Day One - from Labor Secretary Hilda Solis’s blatantly pro-union public statements to the recess appointment of former union lawyer Craig Becker to the National Labor Relations Board. Now add official time to that list.
People - write to your Congressmen/women to put a stop to this crap! This abuse will just continue to increase unless we put an end to it.

Big Union Bosses Won't Let A Small Thing Like Laws Get In There Way
Start
Watch the video and hear it from the big boys' mouth yourself. Why would something like the law have any influence on them?

Teachers Worth The $125k They EARN
I know there are a few shockers in this posting.
1. CBS ran this on 60 minutes and it does not support the union philosophy of teaching.
2. That there are teachers worth a $125k salary.
3. That teachers can earn that pay with the public funding that the school receives.

Why Unions Have Become Expendable
This is a very well done piece on the phases of government, where progressive beliefs and ideals fit into those phases and why this phase in government must not include them.

Unions Vs. Right To Work
Robert Barro - an economics professor at Harvard - writes a good article running in the Wall Street Journal today. If the state of WI can get past this first hurdle the next piece of legislation should be right to work.

The Effects Of Teachers Unions On American Education
Andrew J Coulson wrote a paper on The Effects Of Teachers Unions On American Education that ran in the CATO Institute Winter Journal 2010.
I can simpathize with those that don't want to read a 16 page paper with a ton of statistics in it - so if you go to page 12 you can see the summary of his findings. I do suggest you at least glance at the paper to see the staggering amount of money the NEA & AFT have spent on maintaining their political power.

What Did The Poster Child For Big Government - FDR - Think Of Public Sector Unions
Warning to all big government Liberals out there - if you read this letter from FDR to Mr. Steward you may have to take down that shrine to FDR.

What Protects A Worker's Rights? The Unions?
No - the unions do not protect the worker's rights. All you have to do is watch the previously posted video to find out that the unions are all about political power. Who is entrusted with protecting the rights of the working class? It would be the Department of Labor.
The Department of Labor was created in 1913 by the father of socialism in this country - Woodrow Wilson. So - what have we learned here today? All you union backers have to do is put your trust in the federal government and they will take care of you.
Oh - that's as long as they are done ensuring that the illegals in this country are getting paid a fair wage.

After 59 hours of debate the WI Assembly passed the budget repair bill to the dismay of the Democrats. The bill now goes to the Senate where the 14 derelicts are still MIA.

WI Protesters Shut Down Fox News Interview
Here is an example of Liberal free speech. Fox News attempted to interview MI's Brett Healy about the fraudulent doctor's excuses being handed out to government union employees but the Liberal protesters would have none of that nonsense.
Apparently - you only have the right to the freedom of speech if the union gives it to you.

It's All About The Kids - Really?
I would have a little respect for the government unions if they would just tell the public it is about power and money.

WI $137 Million Deficit Real Or Just A Union Buster
I stumbled on this story because of all the press from Rachel Maddow's claim that WI will have a surplus this year. So I go back to the headline is the deficit real or just an excuse for Walker to bust the unions? According to Politifact the WI $137million deficit is real and it is not being caused by Walker's corporate tax cuts.I don't watch Maddow, Olberman, Hannity or Beck - all of these people are for entertainment purposes. They can give a person a topic but it is my belief that the individual needs to do his/her own research to achieve the truth.

NY Taxpayers Spent $9M On Cosmetic Surgery in 2009 For Union Teachers
Yep - it is in their contract that the taxpayers paid for their chemical peels and whatever else they wanted done. Have no fear people - there is good news - the union has agreed to take it out of the next contract. I'm guessing that everyone will have gotten all of their procedures done by then.
How Public Sector Unions Use Workers' Dues For Politics

This Is What Governor Christie Is Up Against In New Jersey
After you watch these clips of teachers at their union conference you should be outraged that it is nearly impossible to get rid of these people. Governor Christie once again nails it with his response in the last video.

Unions Hiring Non-Union Workers - At Minimum Wage - To Picket
This is nothing new for the hypocritical unions to hire people at minimum wage without benefits (everything the union is against) to get their message of love out to the public.

How Does That Old Saying Go? Oh Yeah - It Is All About The Kids
Liberals and unions just keep saying it is all about the kids - someday you may believe it yourself.
